Art With Heart Team Blog Hop Favourite Christmas Bundle

Tonight some of the Art with Heart Stampin’ Up! team girls are sharing some fun and fabulous ideas to inspire you from our brand new Holiday Catalogue available on 1st September until 2nd January 2018. Be sure to request your copy of the catalogue today!

The bundle I'm featuring is Hearts Come Home, which includes the Hearts Come Home stamp set and the Hometown Greeting Edgelits Dies.

The first card features mainly the egdelits, which I have cut out at different depths. I coloured the Pine trees to look like Christmas trees with an Aquapainter and Old Olive ink.

The DSP for the night sky is from the Merry Little Christmas DSP. The Santa Sleigh image from the Hearts Come Home stamp set was embossed in Gold Emboss Powder.

The egdelits were then layered on a Thick Whisper White card base and the greeting added in Gold Emboss Powder.

The second card uses on the Hearts Come Home stamp set. The houses were stamped in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green, with the first house stamped off. The Santa and the trees were stamped in Sahara Sand and the greeting in Early Espresso. I used the Stitched Shapes dies to cut the rectangle by cutting three sides of a square, then manipulating another three sides to complete the square. I will added a picture explanation at a later date. The strip of DSP is from the Merry Mistletoe DSP from the Annual catalogue.

The new Ticket Tear Border punch was used on the Garden green strip under the Stitched Shape rectangle.

Now for a non Christmas card. I'm always looking for ways to extend the usesfulness of the products I buy. Here's a wedding card using the same edgelits. I cut the church edeglit from Very Vanilla cardstock, and then trimmed it until I only had the church and a tree remaining. I mounted this on Gold Foil, then on one of the sheets from the Year of Cheer Speciality DSP. The card base is Night of Navy.

The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set and is Gold Embossed.

All of the products used in these cards are listed at the end of this post. If you have any questions or comments I would love to hear from you.
