Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 1

Only one more sleep, yay!  Today I'm showing you what my catalogue launch attendees will be receiving on the 24th of June at my Catalogue Launch.  It's a handmade folder that holds a New Catalogue Survival kit and lots of samples from the new Catalogue. 

I will add more samples when they arrive from TOMORROW's order.

The Heart of Christmas

Today I have a Christmas treat for you that features one of the cutest stamp sets from the new catalogue.

This Little Piggy.... stamp set has four different Piggy stamps. I have chosen this one and added the Christmas hat from Snow Friends stamp set, which is discontinued tomorrow!

I know May seems early to be starting Christmas cards, but why not with cuties like this.

Today's countdown project features the new Daisy Punch and coordinating Daisy Delight Stamp set and Delightful Daisy DSP.

 The FRIEND sentiment has been cut using the Lovely Words Thinlits.

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 3

A special card for a very special friend today. Using the Happy Birthday Thinlit again, but this time separating the words and adding a 40 in between. A wash in Berry Burst behind the numbers makes them stand out a little. The flowers on the inside are from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 4

Another card using the At Home With You and coordinating At Home thinlits today. 

I converted the single door into double doors to give more room for my message.

 

The message and decorations behind the doors, along with the presents on the front use the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. The door frame has been cut from the Wood Textures DSP.

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 5.   For today's card I used the At Home With You stamp set and coordinating At Home thinlits. This set includes stamps and thinlits that count out a door that actually opens.

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 7.    Today's cards use the same supplies as yesterday's cards, the Colourful Theory Suite. Todays cards are Autumn and Spring themed.

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 8

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 8   Today's cards feature the Colourful Seasons Stamp set and the Seasonal Layers thinlits. The paper used is from the Colour Theory DSP stack. These cards are Sumer and Winter themed, tomorrow's, guess what?🤔 All these goodies, and more are available in just 8 more days!!!

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 9

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 9   Today's card uses heaps of new products. Most notably the Happy Birthday thinlit. I love this product, it's the perfect size for a card front. I've layered one in the new Wood Textures DSP (6x6" stack) and one in black to give a 3D effect. Next is the new Oh My Stars embossing folder and the Copper Trim. The final new product on this card is the Eastern Palace Speciality DSP which is available now in a couple of bundles with the other products in the suite.

Countdown to new Catalogue, Day 10

A beautiful bunch of daisies in Powder Pink and Berry Burst using the Daisy punch, which also has a coordinating stamp set.

Daisy centres are new Gold Faceted Gems.

Colour Inkspiration

I found time this week to participate in the colour challenge at Colour Inkspiration #109.

This week's colours are Dapper Denim, Pool Party and Cherry Cobbler.

I inked up one of the new hostess sets in the 2017-2018 catalogue called Feathery Friends.

I stamped the images in Stazon Black on Shimmery White cardstock and coloured with Blender pens and inks. I cut out the images and mounted them on Dimensionals on Whisper White cardstock embossed with the Petal Burst textured Embossing folder.

This stamp set can be yours for free when you host a qualifying party from the 1st of June.

Art With Heart Team Blog Hop - New Catalogue

 

 

Tonight I am participating in a blog hop along with the super talented ladies in the Art With Heart Team. We thought it would be fun to share some fabulous ideas to inspire you from our brand new 2017-2018 annual catalogue, which is available 1st June. Be sure to request your copy of the catalogue today! The first project I have for you uses the new Crate Die and the new Wood Textures DSP, which comes in a 6"x6" stack. The foliage is from the Jar of Love set. The other new products I have used on the front of the card are one of the In Colour Bitty Bows in Berry Burst and the Powder Pink edges done with the Ticket Tear Border Punch.

 

 

These self adhesive bows are extremely easy to use.

On the inside of the card I have used one cut out from the crate die. Usually, to make a complete crate, you will need two pieces. I adhered the crate to the inside of the card and used an addition piece as a brace, and to attach some of the foliage to. I will be creating a tutorial as to how this was done shortly.

The colours I used for the flowers are Berry Burst, Powder Pink, and Fresh Fig, and for the foliage, Tranquil Tide and Sahara Sand.

The second card I have to show you features a set that caught my attention as soon as I saw the Catalogue. It's called Bright Wishes and this image of a wishing well is perect for colouring. I used Blender Pens on Shimmery White paper this time, but you could also use the Watercolour Pencils or an Aquapainter with the inks on watercolour paper..

Once again I have use a piece of Wood Textures DSP, Love this paper!

On the inside I stamped the image in Crumb Cake ink, and softly coloured the flowers in Powder Pink and a few leaves in Pear Pizzazz.
